HTC One X and One S Joined by HTC One V Deals On O2

HTC's new 'One' range of smart phone has now given birth to a third handset release; following the launch of the quad-core HTC One X and mid-range HTC One S, the new HTC One V has now been released on O2 deals in the UK.
HTC One V deals on O2 start with line rental charges of only £10.50 per month and a free phone is now available on contracts of £18.50 per month, this is on the O2 100 tariff and includes 100MB of data, 100 minutes of calls and 500 text messages to use every month.
In comparison, HTC One X deals offering a free phone on O2 start at £29.00 per month and the One S at £26.00, the new V model is the cheapest in the range but offers many of the same features of its two larger cousins.
Although the lowest specification device in the new 'One' series, the HTC One V still packs a punch in terms of features offering the same new advanced camera capabilities as the other two models with a dedicated imaging chip.
This allows for very fast picture capture via the 5 mega pixel camera and the new facility to be able to take high-resolution still photos actually during recording video; there is also the new BSI sensor for low light condition photography, continuous shooting mode to snap multiple pictures, an F2.0 aperture and 28mm lens and the One V can record video at 720p HD quality.
Away from these camera features the HTC One V offers a very different design format to the One X and One S models by replicating the design of the previous HTC Legend phone; this includes the 'chin' style fist displayed in the original handset that brings the microphone closer to the mouth as well as protects the touch screen when laid down flat.
The main display is a 3.7 inch screen which is the smallest in the new range with the One X at 4.7 inches and the One S at 4.3 inches; it also opts for a single-core 1GHz processor rather than the new quad-core 1.5GHz of the X model and dual-core 1.5GHz of the V but with a smaller screen it does not need the processing power of the high specification phones.
All three of these new phones run the latest Android 4.0 operating system known as the Ice Cream Sandwich instalment, this further improves on the previous 2.3 edition with better battery management and a speedier and smoother user experience.
The HTC One V is expected to be released on further UK networks over the coming days with the next launch to be on T-Mobile contract deals; there is also expected releases for the handset as a Pay As You Go phone for those that do not like contracts as well as a SIM free phone with no network locks or branding and a further black edition of the handset is set to join the original soon.

iPhones are surprisingly old-fashioned when it comes to syncing and it requires the users to plug in and connect to iTunes that should have been done wirelessly. Android phones have a fantastic Google syncing capability so much so that it continues to work even if you change or lose your old smartphone.
Android is not so great in syncing with popular sources of data other than Google Sync especially Outlook, Address Book and the like. Here iPhone is the clear winner. The Android tethering situation is seriously better off than what the iPhone provides. Android edges ahead of the iPhone since it has the ability to turn your handset into a Wi-Fi hotspot which can actually deliver wireless connections to you of up to 7 friends.
Apple presents the iOS updates better than what Android does. The iPhone ecosystem is pretty much easy to understand and every new phone receives the new update. Every other phone in the ecosystem can also receive the update unless and until it is the oldest one.Android does not have a streamlines way of going about the updates.
And one of the most important feature of all: the apps. Though the Apple store has more than four times the number of apps than that of Android, there is a lot of crap too in the App Store.
